1. Relatives of the students

Unsurprisingly, the first donations to the Project Kit come from parents, families and relatives of the students concerned by the educational projects offered on the site.

These donors are part of the so-called “first” circle of the project, they have a direct link with the beneficiary students or with the teachers carrying the project.

For this type of donor, the platform offers an alternative to the more traditional actions of fundraising in the school world: raffles, fairs, sales of cakes ... Thanks to their donations, they encourage the initiatives of teachers, the support necessary to solicit by more distant donors.

Note that for individuals, each donation made for the benefit of a project gives rise to a tax deduction of 66% of the amount paid, within the limit of 20% of the annual taxable income.

2. Individuals and local businesses

While the first circle of donors often represents a significant portion of donations, the educational projects offered by the Project Kit can also benefit from the support of individuals and local businesses who do not necessarily have a direct link with one of the participants. .

This second circle brings together local businesses and traders, friends or colleagues of parents of students, the network of the educational team or even companies in which the students are on internship.

Their donations are therefore mainly guided by the desire to support solidarity and exemplary initiatives close to their territory.

3. The general public

Finally, the third and final circle of donors called “general public” is made up of companies, associations or individuals having no direct link with the supported project.

These donors are committed to defending a cause for which they are used to mobilizing: civic commitments (environment, solidarity, etc.), artistic disciplines (photography, literature, etc.).

For project leaders, these targets are often quite difficult to reach and convince.

A complicated challenge, but not impossible, especially via social networks.

In 2020, an artistic project carried by a Breton class thus benefited from a donation of more than 1,000 euros from a Ile-de-France IT company.

In exchange for this help, the company benefited, like all companies that make a donation on the platform, from a tax deduction of 60% of the amount paid (within the limit of 0.5% of its turnover). annual business).
