In France, the growing craze for the anti-Covid vaccine raises fears of a shortage of doses.

In France, the vaccination phase dedicated to the general public which started last Monday is very popular.
After nursing home residents and caregivers over 50, it is the turn of over 75s to get vaccinated.
The call centers for making appointments have been stormed, proof of the adhesion of the French to the vaccine against the Covid-19.
But local elected officials and department presidents deplore an insufficiency or a lack of clarity on the supply of vaccine doses.

For the past week, the Seine-Saint-Denis department, hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic, has done everything to be ready to vaccinate those over 75 years old.
But contrary to what was expected in terms of the number of
vaccinations
performed per day, the 17 centers opened in this territory are forced to reduce their targets.

Due to lack of sufficient doses of vaccine delivered by regional health agencies, several vaccination centers had to cancel slots and suspend appointment scheduling, until further notice.
