January 20, 2021 It is the blackest day in the UK since the start of the pandemic. According to local media, in fact, in the last 24 hours 1,820 people have died from complications related to Covid, the highest figure ever recorded since the beginning of the pandemic and which exceeds the previous record of 1,610 deaths yesterday.

The country is at the worst moment of the health emergency: there are more than 38 thousand new cases every day and every day seems to mark a record between the number of deaths and the number of infected.

The UK has been in total lockdown since early January.

The vaccination campaign continues at a fast pace: 4,609,740 people have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 460,625 have also received the second dose.
