Berlin (dpa) - Canned fish and fishing rods, dance interludes and designers with face masks: there were some eye-catchers at the Berlin Fashion Week.

The Mainz fashion designer Anja Gockel presented her collection on Tuesday evening in the Hotel Adlon - to be seen as a live stream with piano music and dance.

The motto of the collection was “Embraceland” (for example: land of embrace), as an expression of solidarity in times of crisis.

The Berlin designer Danny Reinke presented his collection in the Kraftwerk.

There was a model to be seen with her hair held on a fishing rod.

An accessory: a canned fish in the shopping network.


The Fashion Week is taking place on the Internet this time, the shows are being shown online because of the pandemic.

A phenomenon that is still quite new for Berlin is establishing itself: the “fashion film”, which viewers can watch at home in the living room.

Heidi Klum (47) advertised her daughter Leni (16) on Instagram, who could be seen in such a clip and, among other things, wore an outfit by designer Esther Perbandt.

On the Marc Cain label, the film was called “How Wonderful”.

The fashion week brings together several events under one roof until Sunday.

Fashion Week shows new collections and trends twice a year, this time it's about autumn & winter 2021/2022.
