Leipzig (dpa / sn) - A warm front brings a lot of wind and higher temperatures to Saxony.
A meteorologist from the German Weather Service in Leipzig said that gale-force gusts were possible on the Fichtelberg as early as Tuesday.
That corresponds to wind speeds of up to 115 kilometers per hour.
In the coming days, a lot of wind can also be expected in the lower elevations.
According to the forecast, temperatures will also continue to rise.
The maximum values should be between seven and nine degrees on Wednesday.
Values of up to 11 degrees are possible on Thursday.
The snow that still exists on the Fichtelberg could melt, said the meteorologist.
From Friday it will probably get colder again.
According to the weather service, freezing temperatures are possible on weekends.
