Residents of the province have had to get used to waiting when the police are needed.
The issue of the police's work in Dalsland has been discussed and criticized for several years.
But now a change may be underway.
From the first of March and six months onwards, two police officers will have Bengtsfors as their base when they will work with northern Dalsland.
