The only cook to have won a third star in the 2021 promotion of the Michelin Guide, Alexandre Mazzia has closed his doors for several months.

While waiting to be able to display his third macaroon in his Marseille establishment, he offers menus on board Michel, his food truck.

He is what one could call a child prodigy.

Marseille chef Alexandre Mazzia won his third Michelin star on Monday after just a few years in the business.

The man indeed opened his restaurant in 2014. Like all establishments, it has been closed for months, but he has chosen to continue to delight his customers by installing a food truck in the southern districts of the Marseille city.

To keep his head above water, to maintain the passion and not to suffer this confinement, as he sums it up himself, it is therefore on board Michel that he keeps the flame alive.

Michel is his van parked in the south of the city, named in homage to his grandfather, a Breton fisherman.

Its packed lunches at around twenty euros attract the curious.

Alexandre Mazzia's cuisine is a bit like his history, his career, his birth and the flavors of his childhood in Pointe-Noire, in the Congo, to Marseille, after having traveled the world.

So here he is once again rewarded in two years and very impatient to open the doors of his restaurant AM again.
