Its place in the history of Andalusia

Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Hajji is one of the main pillars in Andalusian history studies, because he wrote about this history from the conquest to the fall, and he had a prominent role in introducing it, according to the assistant professor of Andalusian history, Dr. Mortada Abdul Razzaq Majeed.

Majid added - to Al-Jazeera Net - that Al-Hajji was called the Sheikh of Andalusian historians because he was the first to start with Andalusian studies in Iraq, so he wrote about Andalusia in a true, neutral, accurate and clear manner, and he has more than one author and classified on the history of Andalusia, whether it is socially, politically or economically.

Majeed attributes the reason for Al-Hajji's interest in the history of Andalusia to the importance of that country, as it is called - in Iraq - the lost paradise, after the Muslims made their tremendous efforts in that land to form a human civilization that has an impact in the East, Morocco and Europe, and to its high societal position, as the issue of Andalusia is more like the Palestinian cause Today.
