80 municipalities were affected by the accident, 47 of them are demanding compensation.

Luleå demands the highest compensation with reference to the fact that a man died due to the alarm not working.

Many municipalities are between SEK 14,000 and 200,000.

Forced to wait for eight hours

In Krokom, a man alerted in vain.

After an eight-hour wait, an ambulance arrived at the hospital.

 - It is deplorable, says Teddy Roswall, security technician at Krokom.

We have security alarms, for example in Valsjöbyn, and were forced to have employees who went out to check that everything was ok.

The alarms could not be trusted.

Teddy Roswall does not want to mention the amount the municipality will demand during negotiations on Friday.

Lost tax dollars

- We do not want to negotiate.

But we want a substantial compensation - it's about lost tax dollars.

Teddy Roswall adds that Tunstall's concerns cannot be measured in money.

- But of course it's a scandal.

Strömsund municipality will also demand compensation from Tunstall.

Åre municipality, which was also affected by the interruptions, has chosen not to file a claim for damages.

Tunstall has announced that they will hold individual talks with each municipality.
