The Catalan elections will be called again for next February 14, at least for the moment.
The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has suspended the decree by which the Generalitat called off the elections and promised to transfer them to May 30.
The High Catalan Court has upheld the very precautionary measures requested against the Government's maneuver and annulled it until it decides on the merits of the matter and determines whether the elections can be effectively postponed.
In other words, the decision of the TSJC is not final, since it does not anticipate its definitive position on the legality of the electoral delay.
