Participants from Microsoft, Vattenfall, the Swedish Transport Administration, Gästrikevatten and Gävle municipality tried to calm the residents of Stackbo via a digital meeting.

Traffic, fiber and water dominated the issue.

Both the lack of water in some of the well-drained wells - and then questions about the households that Microsoft "offers" a connection when Gästrikevatten draws water and sewage to Microsoft's server halls came up.

A connection that costs between SEK 130,000 and 160,000 households normally, and Microsoft pays for its own connection as well as 16 households on the way forward.

Those who are left without were both questioning and annoyed.

"Not got to know that much"

- We do not think we have learned so much news since they had a meeting in September.

They always say that "we are working on the issue" and that "it is moving forward", but what does that really mean, Paul Lind and Anna-Karin Löfstrand wonder.

They live closest to where a transformer station is to be built and they have at times had a shortage of water in connection with the preparations for the station.

The equipment on its way in

The shell is now ready in Stackbo and the equipment is on its way in, according to Jonas Davidsson, who was asked when hall number two will begin construction.

- At the earliest in a couple of years, he replied.

It is also planned to build a so-called Spanish turn on highway 56, a kind of turn that is constructed to reduce the risks of left turns from major roads.

- It is being built far too late, because our road is already broken, some said.

More meetings are held

- It is not uncommon for such issues to arise in such large constructions, but it is still progressing, said municipal councilor Jörgen Edsvik (S).

On Wednesday, a similar meeting will be held in Sandviken regarding Microsoft's facility in Tuna.

And on Thursday next week, a large open meeting will be held for everyone who lives in Gävle and Sandviken digitally, with Microsoft representatives who will tell about the establishment and answer questions.
