“It is imperative to keep your distance on buses and trains.

“We are now also having a look at whether the offer needs to be increased wherever possible.
This applies in particular to individual bus routes at certain times of the day. "
The traffic administration under Senator Regine Günther (Greens) commissioned the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) to propose solutions for more capacities on such routes. In order to discuss the obligation to wear FFP2 masks in public transport, as has been in effect in Bavaria since Monday, the spokesman said that the necessary requirement was that these masks are available to everyone. "They have to be free for people without sufficient financial means."
