Necaxa defender Unai Bilbao suffered a severe knee injury during the match between his team at Atletico San Luis Saturday, in the Mexican Football League.
Bilbao received a strong push after a confrontation with the opposing striker in the 76th minute of the match, which led to his fall to the ground to slide onto a large metal nail used to install one of the billboards next to the goal.
The nail tore the outer skin of the knee of the young defender, which called for the medical team to intervene to treat him immediately on the pitch, and Bilbao was unable to continue the match and was replaced, after the match stopped for several minutes to check on the player's safety.
The official account of the Mexican League on Twitter sent a message of encouragement to the injured player to support him, while tweeters criticized the officials of the league for failing to get rid of the phenomenon of ads on the ground, which caused Bilbao to directly hurt and injure a terrible knee.

And a sports reporter published a picture of the sharp metal nail that caused the difficult injury of the player, commenting, "This is the nail that hit Bilbao, and is used to fix the existing billboards."
