Newly starred Cerisier kitchens -

A new star is shining in Lille.

After La Table and le Rozo, Le Cerisier became the third restaurant in Lille on Monday to win a star in the Michelin Guide.

Built a year and a half ago on Avenue du Peuple Belge, the gourmet restaurant was launched by chef Eric Delerue, already awarded a star in the past in his former restaurant in Laventie.

But in 2020, the cook returned his apron and was replaced by Mathieu Boutroy to whom the guide awarded the star.

In a very troubled year for restaurateurs who will have opened only six months out of twelve, maintaining the annual star ceremony has been the subject of debate.

If some gastronomic guides did not want to rate the restaurants because of the very specific context, the Michelin has not changed anything.

So much the better for the Cherry tree, which hopes to quickly celebrate this first macaroon.
