Eggenfelden (dpa / lby) - Concrete blocks weighing tons were lost by a truck on federal highway 388 in Lower Bavaria, causing an accident.
The truck driver braked on Monday morning near Eggenfelden (Rottal-Inn district) to change lanes, the police said.
His load started sliding and fell onto the street.
According to the police, a driver crashed into the concrete parts, each of which weighs one and a half tons.
The car came off the lane to the left, overturned, and lay on the side of the embankment.
With a lot of luck, the driver was unharmed, as a police spokesman said.
The truck driver must now expect a fine because he did not secure his load adequately.
