Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Hamburger SV wants to regain the lead in the 2nd Bundesliga.
For this, the Hanseatic League needs a victory over VfL Osnabrück.
Tonight's encounter in the Volksparkstadion will be particularly emotional for coach Daniel Thioune.
The long-time professional and trainer at VfL meets his former professionals and companions.
“This is something very special,” said the 46-year-old.
"I was part of the success."
But the coach wants “less Daniel Thioune” and instead “more HSV against Osnabrück” in preliminary reports and social media.
"We want to win a football game and we will do everything for it," he said.
In the preseason he had a good laugh with VfL.

Osnabrück are almost as strong away from home as HSV at home this season.
