Berlin (AP) - The rapper Bushido has in the process against his former business partner Arafat A.-Ch.

declares that he has been chasing a termination agreement for months.

He initially offered the clan chief 1.8 million euros and was then ready to increase the amount.

"My pain threshold could have been around 2.4 million euros," said the 42-year-old musician on Monday in front of the Berlin district court.

The rapper was threatened, insulted, locked in an office in January 2018 and attacked with a water bottle and chair.

Three of his brothers are also accused.

The four defendants have so far remained silent on the allegations in the five-month trial.

Bushido, whose real name is Anis Ferchichi, is accompanied by bodyguards into the courtroom, is the most important witness and co-plaintiff in the proceedings.

His wife and children have also received personal protection for more than two years.

Bushido said on the 13th day of his questioning that Arafat A.-Ch.
