According to the Chinese government website, Mr. Zhang from Zibo City, Shandong Province reported through the State Council’s "Internet + Supervision" platform that Zibo Zhangdian Longtai Hospital used insurance fraud to generate income and fraudulently obtained funds such as nursing subsidies.
Upon investigation, the hospital involved a total of 122,603.82 yuan in violation fees.
The local medical insurance department has recovered all the violation fees and suspended the hospital’s medical insurance service agreement for three months.
After receiving Mr. Zhang’s message, the State Office’s inspection office immediately transferred it to the National Medical Insurance Bureau for verification after preliminary verification.
After receiving the clues from the inspection office of the State Council, the National Medical Insurance Bureau immediately organized an inspection.
After investigation, there is a nursing service receipt in Zhangdian Longtai Hospital in Zibo showing that the same nursing staff performed nursing at multiple homes at the same time, over-range and indication medication, over-diagnosis and treatment, and normal attendance during the hospital stay in bed. Uploading medical insurance costs and other issues involved a total of 122,603.82 yuan in violation costs.
In response to the problems found in the supervision, the local medical insurance department has recovered all the illegal expenses and suspended the medical insurance service agreement of Zibo Zhangdian Longtai Hospital for three months.
