Potsdam (dpa / bb) - A young woman was attacked by an unknown man in downtown Potsdam.
The 18-year-old was suddenly kicked from behind by a man on Saturday evening, the police reported on Sunday.
The stranger then choked the 18-year-old so much that she could not breathe for a short time.
But she resisted: According to the police, with one kick she was able to free herself from the stranglehold and flee home.
The woman was in shock.
Therefore, she could not provide any further personal description.
The criminal police took over the investigation.
