Erfurt (AP) - A drunk man fled from the police on an e-scooter in Erfurt.
The 43-year-old was in the center of the Thuringian capital on Saturday, the police said on Sunday.
When he saw the police, he immediately turned down a side street.
Even after being requested by the officials, he said he did not stop.
Only when the police pulled their patrol car across the street could they stop the man.
A breath alcohol test showed a value of 1.6 per thousand.
The man has now lost his driver's license and faces a fine, said a police spokesman.
