Benediktbeuern (dpa / lby) - There has been a new mass corona infection in a retirement home in Benediktbeuern.
Sixteen residents have contracted the pathogen, and there are another seven infections among staff, as the Bad Tölz and Wolfratshausen district office announced on Sunday.
Three people were so sick that they were hospitalized.
The authorities have banned visitors and new residents will not be accepted for the time being.
There had previously been a similar case in a nursing home in nearby Geretsried.
There, the number of infections rose since Friday to a total of 21 on Sunday.
