It was in May 2020 that approximately 30 cars were destroyed worth several million in fires in Södra Ryd in Skövde.
No one was injured in the fires, but it could have ended badly when two cars burned on Stockvägen in Södra Ryd and a fire broke out in a storage room connected to the residential buildings.

Youth care and damages
One of the boys is sentenced for one case of grievous bodily harm and three cases of arson to youth care and youth service of 150 hours.
He must also pay damages of just under one million kronor.
Another is sentenced for two cases of arson to youth care and 120 hours of youth service and must pay damages of just over SEK 500,000.
The third is sentenced for a case of grievous bodily harm and a case of arson to youth care and youth service for 120 hours.
He must pay damages of just under one million kronor.
The trial lasted for five days and the district court agreed with its assessment.
