The gendarmerie arrested 14 people in France and seized more than 1,000 “child pornographic content” circulating on the Internet in November, during the second confinement, we learned this Sunday from the gendarmerie.

The operation, which took place the week of November 16, took place when the "exceptional health context" due to the Covid-19 epidemic "appeared conducive to an increase in the activity of the perpetrators of sexual assault on minors via the Internet, ”adds the gendarmerie.
The investigations were coordinated by the C3N, the gendarmerie's digital crime center, in conjunction with Europol and the national child pornography center (CNAIP).
