January 17, 2021 A vast fire broke out in Reggio Emilia, around 9 pm tonight, in the depot of the Silk fleet (the company that manages local public transport) in via del Chionso, near the Campovolo airport.
According to the first estimates reported by a note from the Fire Brigade, still engaged in extinguishing operations, the flames involved about 15 buses all powered by LPG, also causing several explosions. At the moment there doesn't seem to be any people involved.
The causes that gave life to the stake are still to be understood, but the investigations at the moment do not rule out fraud. The regional directorate of the firefighters of Emilia-Romagna, in order to guarantee support for the forces of the Reggio command, is coordinating the dispatch of other teams from other commands in the region.
