Quarantine breakers: countries create central offices for forced admission

Several federal states want to take stronger action against persistent quarantine objectors.

In addition to high fines, in extreme cases there will be compulsory training at central locations in the future.

This was the result of research by WELT AM SONNTAG.

This would affect people who disregard the official order to isolate themselves for a certain period of time because of a possible or actual corona infection.

Based on a court order, they can be placed under supervision for a certain period of time in the event of repeated infringement or refusal.

So far, this has usually been done decentrally in the municipalities.
