Dresden (dpa / sn) - The police have ended a party that was forbidden in lockdown with around 60 people in the garden restaurant of an allotment garden in Dresden.

The organizer had previously invited in social networks, the police said on Sunday.

When the officers arrived, some guests fled.

In addition, some celebrants resist - the police said they had to use pepper spray when entering the restaurant.

One policeman was slightly injured in the clash on Sunday night.

Ultimately, however, it was possible to bring the situation under control and end the party, it said.

According to the police, nobody wore a mask at the celebration, and the distance rules were not observed. A complaint was made against 49 party guests for violating the Corona Protection Ordinance, a 21-year-old also has to answer for resisting enforcement officers. The current Corona rules stipulate that currently only one household may meet with one other person. There are also strict exit restrictions.
