During the day, 3,286 patients with confirmed coronavirus died in the United States.

In total, during the pandemic, 395,851 deaths were registered in the country.

Earlier, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention predicted that a new coronavirus strain, first detected in the UK, could become dominant in the US by March.
