"Since the beginning of the mass poisoning in the city of Buinaksk, 303 people have applied for help, of which 239 are children," said a representative of the mayor's office.
It is noted that there were 170 children among the 199 hospitalized.
To date, 70 patients remain in the hospital.
Over the past day, 34 patients were discharged from hospitals.
Earlier, the Dagestani authorities reported that in Buinaksk 196 people went to doctors in connection with poisoning, 96 of them were hospitalized.
The causative agent of dysentery was found in the tap water in Buinaksk.
