The media office of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri revealed that he had nothing to do with an article "offensive" to Saudi Arabia, published by the Rafik Hariri Center and Middle East Initiatives in Washington.

The office said - in a statement - that Saad Hariri "deeply regrets that the name of the martyr prime minister has been given any insult to the Kingdom and its leadership."

He added that Hariri inherited from his father, the late president, "the loyalty to the kingdom and its people," highlighting that the history of these close relations "will not be distorted by fabrications."
