Duisburg (dpa / lnw) - MSV Duisburg has left the last place in the table in the 3rd football league.

The “Zebras” won the basement duel against SV Meppen 1-0 (1-0) on Sunday and for the first time after seven unsuccessful attempts they did not concede a goal.

Wilson Kamavuaka scored the winning goal (22nd).

The MSV moved up to 19th place, but also benefited from the fact that VfB Lübeck could not play against FC Hansa Rostock on Saturday due to weather conditions.

KFC Uerdingen and SV Waldhof Mannheim had already split 1: 1 (0: 1).

Unimpressed by the unrest over the resignations of President Mikhail Ponomarew and Vice Chairman Nikolas Weinhart, the KFC initially presented itself more actively.

However, the goal fell on the other side by Mohamed Gouaida (40th).

After the break, Heinz Mörschel rewarded the Uerdingen for their good performance with the equalizer (62nd).

They are in tenth place with 24 points, the Waldhöfer are twelfth and have one point less on their account.
