Concretely, from Monday January 18, travelers wishing to go to an overseas department must present a negative PCR test carried out less than 72 hours before the flight and present a sworn certificate declaring the absence of symptoms. , committing them to isolate themselves for 7 days after arrival and to perform a PCR test at the end of this "septaine".
Only travelers going to Martinique from Guadeloupe or going there from Martinique will not have to follow these new measures.
Travelers to Guyana and Mayotte must also provide proof of a compelling reason for travel.
Travelers from Guyana, Reunion Island and Mayotte and wishing to go to mainland France must present a negative PCR test carried out less than 72 hours before the flight and present a sworn certificate declaring the absence of symptoms, committing them to isolate themselves for 7 days after arrival and to carry out a PCR test after this isolation.

The South African variant present in Mayotte
A case of the South African variant of the coronavirus has also been detected in Mayotte and the authorities have decided to suspend international sea and air links for 15 days from Sunday, the prefecture announced on Saturday January 6.
