Since this Saturday, January 16, all French people must respect a curfew from 6 p.m.

Now, businesses close two hours earlier, which requires customers to adapt.

The 6 p.m. curfew was already in effect in some of the departments currently most affected by the coronavirus.

For her and her companion, the curfew disrupts their meals: “

This reduction in hours has consequences for the organization and the customers, as Saïd, the manager explains: 

Friday evening, we had more customers than usual.

And on Saturday morning, we had a little more people and that's why we opened a little earlier, so that there is a longer time slot.

Instead of opening at 10 a.m., we open at 9 a.m.

There, there are clients who usually spend the week, and there, they come on Saturdays

”.

The government is allowing itself two weeks to observe the effects of this curfew.

The aim is to avoid a new wave of the epidemic.
