Invited Sunday from Europe 1, the Minister of Housing Emmanuelle Wargon assured that the establishment of a vaccine passport to access certain places was not on the agenda.

According to her, it is "too early" to discuss the establishment of such a device.

INTERVIEW

This hypothesis is already irritating part of the opposition.

Sunday, the president of the National Rally Marine Le Pen said she was "extremely against" the idea of a vaccine passport, as the sovereignist deputy Nicolas Dupont-Aignan.

Guest of Europe 1, the Minister of Housing Emmanuelle Wargon believes for her part that it is "too early" to speak of such a device.

"It is too early to talk about a passport, knowing that the vaccines are still in the installation phase, that the first doses are arriving," said the minister.

"Vaccination is not yet open access, since we have chosen population categories that will have access first because they are more fragile, so this is not the time to say that there is a France at two speeds between those who will be vaccinated and those who will not ".

Vaccination: "We are on the right track"

Sunday, Secretary of State for European Affairs Clément Beaune said France was "reluctant" to set up a community vaccine passport, believing that the issue should not be on the menu of the European Council next week .

According to an Ifop poll published in

Le Parisien

, the idea of a "vaccine passport" to access certain places is gaining ground, with 62% of favorable opinions for taking the plane, 52% for public transport, 60% of those questioned for visits to vulnerable people in hospitals and nursing homes.

Regarding the vaccination policy planned by the government, Emmanuelle Wargon believes that "we are on the right track".

"We had promised an acceleration which is in the process of being put in place," she assures us.
