Reichshof (dpa / lnw) - During controls of the so-called 15-kilometer rule, the authorities in the Oberbergischer Kreis noticed several violations over the weekend.

For example, in Reichshof near Gummersbach, for example, the public order office and police checked blocked access roads to a ski area.

Around two dozen foreigners who came from the autobahn were sent back, the officials said on Sunday.

Most of the time, they stated that they had no knowledge of the 15-kilometer regulations.

During general traffic checks in the district, three foreigners were noticed until Sunday morning.

On the first few days with the 15-kilometer rule, no violations were known.

In four districts of North Rhine-Westphalia, since Tuesday, residents are only allowed to leave these areas "as long as a radius of 15 kilometers as the crow flies from the border of their own home town (political municipality) is not exceeded".

Only those who live no further than 15 kilometers away are allowed to enter.

There are numerous exceptions for both cases - such as commuting to work.

The districts of Höxter, Minden-Lübbecke and Recklinghausen are also affected.

In the Oberbergischer Kreis there are also exit restrictions at night as a corona protective measure.

The police reported that 27 reports had been posted here for violations.

Among other things, a celebration with six participants was broken up in Lindlar on Friday evening.
