Aue / Frankfurt (dpa) - The presence of around 30 to 40 spectators at the home game of second division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue against Fortuna Düsseldorf (0: 3) on Saturday called the control committee of the German Football Association (DFB) on the scene.

As the chairman of the board, Anton Nachreiner, announced on Sunday, an investigation would be initiated.

"There is a suspicion that the current hygiene concept" sports medicine / special games in professional football "has been violated," said the DFB.

"Erzgebirge Aue will be written to by us and asked to comment on the processes," said Nachreiner.

The German Football League (DFL) will also ask the Saxons for a statement with a view to the game against Fortuna Düsseldorf and its accompanying circumstances, said a DFL spokesman on Sunday.

The photos show how the minimum distance is not observed.

In addition, some people did not wear a mouth and nose cover, which violates the DFL's hygiene concept.

The DFB is responsible for any possible sanctions, since violations during a game fall within the jurisdiction of the DFB sports jurisdiction.
