"At 06:55 Moscow time on January 17, there was a collapse of a mine in one of the Lunsin LLC mines, located in the Todzha region," TASS reports.

At the time of the emergency, according to preliminary data, there were 42 people in the mine, they were evacuated. 

At the same time, there were three workers at the emergency site, two of whom got out on their own, one more, a citizen of the PRC, died.

Six employees of the mine rescue team and one piece of equipment worked at the site of the collapse.

Earlier, a criminal case was opened in the Kamchatka Territory after the death of two people in the collapse of the Asachinsky gold deposit in the mines.
