Raunheim (dpa / lhe) - A 67-year-old man was the victim of a robbery in his apartment in Raunheim in southern Hesse.
After initial investigations, he opened the apartment door on Saturday evening after seeing a person in the courtyard entrance, as the police announced on Sunday.
The 67-year-old was then pushed into the apartment by a stranger and brought to the ground.
A second perpetrator threatened the victim with a machete.
According to the police, the duo fled on foot with the victim's wallet and several hundred euros.
A manhunt was initially unsuccessful.
