The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation and the FBI are investigating whether foreign governments, organizations, or foreigners financially supported the extremists who caused the intrusion to the Capitol, the US NBC reported.

The NBC broadcast quoted a former FBI official saying, "The FBI is investigating a transaction in which a French national paid 500,000 dollars and 600 million won worth of bitcoin to various extreme right-minded people and organizations in the United States." Delivered.

"Bitcoin payments were posted on the website of a company that analyzes cryptocurrency movements," said NBC. "Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public ledger so they can be tracked," NBC broadcast said.

NBC broadcast also quoted French media, saying, "A French programmer who appears to have remitted bitcoin killed himself after remittance on December 8 last year."

NBC added that it is not yet known whether the suspicious bitcoin remittance was used directly in the congressional invasion, or whether foreign government agencies or organizations hostile to the United States supported the extremist forces of the United States by laundering money with virtual currency.
