Kelkheim (Taunus) (dpa / lhe) - An 89-year-old was robbed by a trio and locked in a room.
As the police announced on Saturday, the man was slightly injured.
Accordingly, an 18-year-old woman rang the doorbell at the man's front door in Kelkheim (Main-Taunus-Kreis) on Friday evening and asked to be allowed to use his toilet.
According to the police, when the 89-year-old accompanied the woman down the hall to the bathroom, he noticed two other men entering his house.
"The hitherto unknown perpetrators then proceeded with physical violence against the man and locked him in a room," said the police.
The trio then searched the house, but found nothing of value.
The criminal police have taken over the investigation and are looking for witnesses.
