January 16, 2021 From tomorrow three quarters of Italy will no longer be in the yellow area and three Regions will go to the red area: Lombardy, Sicily and the autonomous province of Bolzano.

Six regions remain in the yellow band.

Campania, Sardinia, Basilicata, Tuscany, Autonomous Province of Trento and Molise.

The national Rt index rose to 1.09 and the control room speaks of "high risk of an uncontrolled and unmanageable epidemic".

It is not a surge, the president of ISS Brusaferro reassures, a sign that the measures adopted so far are working, but Minister Speranza warns that without the utmost compliance with the ordinances "control of the infection is lost".

According to the calendar of restrictions of the new Dpcm throughout Italy, movement between regions will be prohibited until February 15.

And until March 5, the curfew will be confirmed from 10pm to 5am and the closure of gyms, swimming pools and cinemas.

In the yellow areas, those with an RT index less than 1 you can move freely but only within the region.

Bars and restaurants open until 6pm but for bars from 6pm no more take-away to avoid crowds.

The restrictions for the orange and red zones remain unchanged, with an RT index above 1 and 1.25 respectively.

The white zone will also be created for the regions that will have a low risk and an Rt index below 1 in which the only obligation will be to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

But to date, the white zone seems to be for now more of a goal to be achieved than a real reality.

Lombardy and the province of Bolzano are ready to appeal

I asked Minister Speranza to reconsider and we will send accurate notes to explain the reasons for our opposition ", said the president of Lombardy, while the provincial council of Bolzano has decided not to tighten the anti Covid measures
