Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days has further decreased slightly in North Rhine-Westphalia.
On Saturday, the so-called seven-day incidence nationwide was 122.1, according to information from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
On Friday this value was 128, a week ago it was 142.4.
According to the RKI figures, only two cities were above the 200 threshold: Bielefeld (279.5) and Bottrop (223.7).
As recently as Wednesday, eight districts and independent cities in North Rhine-Westphalia were above the 200 mark.
The number of new infections reported to the RKI within one day was 3334 - and thus more than 1000 cases lower than on Friday.
The number of people who died from or with the coronavirus in North Rhine-Westphalia rose by 195 to 9033.
