The municipality decided to close the school for three days next week, between 18 January and 20 January.

- After an assessment together with Smittskydd Skåne, we have decided to close the primary school operations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Through a temporary closure, we hope to be able to break the chain of infection, says Per-Olof Ganestam, principal at Hyllinge in a statement on the municipality's website.

Leisure will be open

The leisure activities are open during the closure, but the students who can stay at home are recommended to do so.

Guardians who do not have the opportunity to be at home can leave their child at leisure.

- It is our decision now, but if we do not get an improved situation, we are prepared to make a new decision to extend the closure.

This only applies to the primary school.

Middle and high school continue as usual.
