Munich (dpa / lby) - The Ansbach administrative court has rejected an urgent application for a meeting against the corona restrictions planned for Sunday in Stein (Fürth district).

The organizer then lodged a complaint against the decision at the Bavarian Administrative Court on Saturday, as a spokesman confirmed.

The Ansbach administrative court had rejected the urgent application to the meeting in Stein on Friday evening.

The court thus confirmed the prohibition imposed by the Fürth district office.

The urgent motion by the organizer of the meeting planned for 199 people was directed against the ban by the Fürth district office.

The administrative court rejected the urgent application on the grounds, among other things, that “it can be assumed that the group of participants in the event largely corresponds to that of other events of so-called“ lateral thinkers ””.

The court was referring in particular to a demonstration that took place on January 3 in Nuremberg.

According to the police, around 300 and later around 200 demonstrators in the city center protested against the regulations on infection control at spontaneously registered gatherings.

Among other things, there were 117 violations of the Infection Protection Act, 50 dismissals and five reports of resistance.

The administrative court's justification also states that it cannot be assumed that the participants would adhere to the Infection Protection Act.

In addition, there is no hygiene concept.

A decision by the Bavarian Administrative Court is expected on Saturday.
