North Korea has announced that it will hold the Supreme People's Assembly on the 17th, and is expected to decide the law and budget to put into practice the five-year economic plan set by the Workers' Party of Korea's party convention.

North Korea held a party convention of the Workers' Party of Korea until the 12th of this month, elected Kim Jung-eun as the party's "general secretary", and held a military parade in the center of Pyongyang on the 14th of this month.



He also announced that the Supreme People's Assembly, consisting of representatives from each region, will be held on the 17th.
