Fischerbach (dpa / lsw) - A police helicopter, firefighters and mountain rescue services rescued a stray hiker near Fischerbach (Ortenaukreis) on Friday.
His wife had alerted the police that her husband had got lost in the forest while hiking in the Fischerbach area.
He was on the way to Brandenkopf when he got lost and ran up at a hut.
But the hiker could not name the exact location.
The rescue helicopter discovered the man, the rescue workers found him safe and sound at a hut, as the police announced on Saturday.
