Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - An apartment fire in a four-story apartment building in Wiesbaden triggered a large-scale deployment of fire and rescue services.

The fire brigade announced on Saturday that the emergency services looked after 17 residents, including four children.

One person was slightly injured by the fire.

The fire brigade was called to the apartment in downtown Wiesbaden on Friday evening.

Accordingly, a burning ethanol stove triggered the operation.

The fire quickly spread to the room furnishings and the stairwell.

A neighbor was able to extinguish the stove before the fire brigade arrived.

The cause of the fire and the amount of damage were still unclear on Saturday.
