Ladenburg (dpa / lsw) - Two men blew up an ATM in a bank in Ladenburg (Rhein-Neckar district) on Saturday morning.

According to the police, the damage amounted to around 50,000 euros; the amount of the loot was initially unknown.

Nobody got hurt.

In the explosion, the machine was torn open and the glazing of the bank room was completely destroyed.

Local residents became aware of the detonation and saw the perpetrators flee in a vehicle at high speed.

The search for the unknown was fruitless.
