Munich (dpa / lby) - The Bavarian Administrative Court (BayVGH) has confirmed the ban on a meeting planned for Sunday against the corona restrictions in Stein (Fürth district).

Based on experience with comparable meetings of the lateral thinking scene, the assembly authority rightly assumed that there would be “conditions that are unacceptable under infection protection law”, according to the judges.

In addition, the organizer had not submitted a hygiene concept.

In addition, the organizers' notice of complaint displayed a lack of understanding of infectiological and epidemiological facts and contexts - by stating, for example, that there was no excess mortality and that there was no threat of overloading the health system.

199 people were registered for the meeting.

The Ansbach administrative court had previously confirmed the pronounced ban of the Fürth district office.

The organizer then lodged a complaint against the decision with the Bavarian Administrative Court on Saturday.

In its reasoning, the administrative court referred in particular to a demonstration that took place on January 3rd in Nuremberg.

According to the police, around 300 and later around 200 demonstrators in the city center protested against the regulations on infection control at spontaneously registered gatherings.

Among other things, there were 117 violations of the Infection Protection Act, 50 dismissals and five reports of resistance.

There is no legal remedy against the decision of the BayVGH (Az. 10 CS 21.166).
