Heilbad Heiligenstadt (dpa / th) - After an accident with a truck, Autobahn 38 was completely closed on Friday for a total of 15 hours due to rescue work.
As the police announced on Saturday, the truck came off the road to the right on Friday night between Heilbad Heiligenstadt and Leinefelde-Worbis in the direction of Leipzig, drove up the embankment and remained overturned on the hard shoulder.
The 30-year-old driver and his co-driver were uninjured.
The truck was loaded with flowers.
The property damage incurred was given at around 20,000 euros.
Traffic was diverted from Heilbad Heiligenstadt.
The road could only be opened again on Friday afternoon.
