The Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Committee in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi announced yesterday that it will update procedures for entering the emirate, in order to strengthen proactive efforts to contain infection and limit the spread of the "Covid-19" virus.

These measures will be implemented starting today.

The committee approved allowing entry to the emirate from within the country within 48 hours of receiving a negative result for the examination of the nasal swab, PCR or laser DPI examination, conducting a PCR examination on the fourth day of entry for those whose stay exceeds four days, and another PCR examination on the eighth day for those whose stay exceeds eight Consecutive days.

The committee confirmed that the procedures will be applied to all residents of the country, except for the recipients of the "Covid 19" vaccine in the national vaccination programs, and the volunteers in the clinical studies of the vaccine, whose special case shows the letter E or the golden star on the application of "Al Hosn".
